宋故孺人王氏，越之新昌人，父讳端贶，以庆寿恩授迪功郎致仕，母张氏封孺人。绍兴二年(1132年)十月二十七日生，年十八归同里张汝能进武校尉，淳熙四年(1177年)秋八月壬辰以疾终于寝，享年四十有六。既二年，乃卜葬于俞山之原，当淳熙六年(1179年)秋九月□□。子男二人：之纲、之奇。

注：志石高41.5厘米，宽41.5厘米，厚7.5厘米，灰白砂岩。新昌县今东茗乡里了山村出土。

Epitaph of Matron Wang of the Song Dynasty

Matron Wang, native of Xinchang County, Yue Prefecture (today’s Shaoxing).

Parents:

Father: Wang Duankuang,  Gentleman for Meritorious Achievement by imperial grace during a royal longevity celebration.

Mother: Lady Zhang, honored as Matron.

Life:

Born on the 27th day of the 10th lunar month, 1132;
Married at age 18 to Zhang Runeng, Military Training Officer (进武校尉) of the same village;
Died of illness at home on the renchen day of the 8th lunar month, 1177, aged 46.
Buried after two years on the southern plain of Yu Mountain, on the ?? (words missing) day in the 9th lunar month, 1179.
