奉天承运。皇帝制曰：朕惟祖之积善，余庆必及于后人；臣之效忠，褒典必及其先世。国家定制，自古为然。尔俞用贞乃礼部右侍郎钦之祖，养高林壑，弘积庆源，茂荫贤孙，显庸朝著。囊因孙贵，既赠特恩，而锡以冠带；今焉云没，复视孙秩，而责以荣名是用，赠为通义大夫、礼部右侍郎。冥灵有知，歆承宠命，尚绥尔后，永服厥官。制曰：国家委任贤能，必溯其本源。而褒及重闻者，所以劝忠于孝也。尔朱氏乃礼部右侍郎俞钦之祖母，妇道母仪，表于闺甸，有孙显用，德善足征，推厥所由，宜隆恩典。兹特赠为淑人，尚克承之，永庇尔后。

注：碑高 185 厘米，宽 92 厘米，方首，灰白太湖石。此碑原在今南明街道百步村俞用贞墓前碑亭内，1966 年，亭被毁，碑被弃置路旁。

Imperial Edict of 1475

By Heaven's Mandate, the Emperor decrees:
As ancestral virtue blesses descendants, so shall loyal ministers' forebears be honored. Yu Yongzhen, grandfather of Vice Minister of Rites Yu Qin, is posthumously elevated to Grand Master for Thorough Justice and Vice Minister of Rites – his mountain reclusion having nurtured a grandson now serving the court.

Concurrently, Lady Zhu (his wife) receives the title Esteemed Lady (淑人) for exemplifying maternal virtues that shaped this statesman. May both spirits safeguard their lineage's enduring service.
