族有祠堂，所以祭也。凡祭春曰祠，言祠则当丞，可知顾祭必有田。周官制度：自卿至士，

圭田皆五十亩，其恩渥矣。降至后世，礼废不可考，士庶家多自立祭田，以遗子孙，亦礼以

义起者也。徐氏自宋居锺井以来，建祠于村右，颜堂曰：余庆。至国朝康熙年间，世祖成十

三公派下协力赀助，中堂三楹扩为五，复构厅五楹，增庑各三楹。尔时，□与真公派、景杰

公派、国卿公派、栖霞公派、捐田若干，为肘蚩资，即于所捐派孙各立干事一人，以丞时祭。

然其规虽立，其继维艰。嘉庆时，族之贤能者，秉公经理，积金置产，不一而足。自是厥后，

岁入其息，既加丰于祀典、复置常稔之田若干亩。此实在天之灵，默为呵护，以有斯光裕也。

后之人心祖宗之心，事祖宗之事，恪守弗替。俾田与世而俱永，岂不懿哉。爰刻石以垂不朽

云。

注：碑高 164 厘米，宽 62 厘米，圭首，镜岭镇西坑青石。原立于钟井村徐公家庙，20 世纪

70 年代移至钟井村上井旁作洗衣石用，2015 年大市聚镇桐中井村收藏。

Ancestral halls exist for worship. Spring rites called ci imply enduring duty – yet require sacrificial lands. Under Zhou system: nobles to scholars each had 50 mu ceremonial fields. Later rituals faded; families established sacrificial fields for descendants – rites born of righteousness. Since Song dynasty at Zhongjing, the Xu clan built a hall west of village named "Yuqing" (Abundant Blessings). Kangxi era, descendants of Ancestor Cheng XIII expanded central hall from three to five bays, added five-bay chamber, and three-bay side corridors. Then, [Cheng?] and Zhen Gong branches, Jingjie Gong branch, Guoqing Gong branch, Qixia Gong branch donated fields for minor expenses (zhouchi funds, local term), appointing stewards for rituals. Though established, maintenance proved difficult. Jiaqing period, capable clansmen impartially managed accumulated assets. Thereafter, annual proceeds enriched rites and purchased fertile fields – all by ancestral grace. May descendants perpetuate this legacy. Herein engraved perpetually.
