妇而节，亦不幸矣。然人生世上，操守为难，故朝廷褒其姓氏，荣之绰楔，又复建祠各学，

俾殁后春秋祭享，以妥其灵。其所以崇重节孝者，恩至渥、礼至隆也。我邑自兵â后，祠宇

被毁，荡焉无存，已越二十余年矣，因经费乏赀，无从兴复。有陈梁氏者，系陈君志玉之聘

妻也，未婚守节，愿首先输金以为倡，率又向戚族中之同志者广为劝募，其余则叨恩旌表，

家各量力饮助。于是它财鸠众，土木斯兴，逾年而功告竣。是役也，不有陈梁氏，无以为始；

非众力之举擎，又何以观成？急公好义，彼此同心，故能废者兴、坠者举，使贞魂烈魄得所

凭依，庶几妥节孝之灵。而于朝廷崇重之意，亦无负也乎，是安可不记！爰书其事，以泐贞

珉，而附捐户姓名于左。

Widowhood is misfortune, yet moral integrity proves harder. Thus the court honors such women with memorial arches and establishes shrines at Confucian temples for perpetual spring-autumn sacrifices – supreme imperial grace. After military disaster [text lost], our county's shrine lay ruined for over twenty years. Unfunded until affianced wife Chen Liangshi (who observed chastity unwedded) initiated donations and mobilized clansmen. Other imperially-honored families contributed proportionally. Construction commenced and completed within a year. Without her leadership and collective support, this restoration would fail. Their public spirit revived the shrine, comforting virtuous spirits and fulfilling imperial intent – hereby recorded.
