尊祖敬宗之谊，莫甚于新故祠宇之建，亦莫盛于新大宗祠下必建小宗祠，由来旧矣。世恩祠，

梁氏小宗也，奉思允公。为自出之祖公下分三房：长庸和公、次庸睦公、三庸樵公。庸和公

下又分二房，长小一公析居大坑，别建祠宇。故建世恩祠捐资，惟庸和公次房小五公及庸睦

公派下居多。三房庸樵公派下以贫富不均，照长次二房减去一分，得二之一焉。祠向无祭产，

四时亨献醴赀以祭，不足以经久远。今年春，合祠公议捐田以图永久。长房捐二亩有奇，二

房如之，三房之田如其股数亦减半焉。遴选公正者五人提司祠事，长次房各二，三房一人，

至派下有愿建者另为勒石，以为好义者劝，其规制可谓详尽矣。抑吾闻古人于同宗，则有宗

约，约者约束子弟，临以祖宗训戒也；又设宗规，规者，交相规劝，使人一举足而不敢忘祖

宗之训也。吾愿梁氏后裔，因其规制之善，更求宗规宗约之义而训行之是，真得尊祖敬宗之

寔，而勿徒震于其名也欤，是为记。

Revering ancestors finds supreme expression in new shrines. Establishing sub-branch shrines beneath the Grand Ancestral Temple has ancient origins. Shien Shrine, Liang clan's sub-branch, venerates Siyun Gong – progenitor of three branches: Yonghe (eldest), Yongmu (second), Yongqiao (third). Yonghe's line split further: eldest Xiaoyi Gong relocated to Dakeng, building a separate shrine. Thus Shien Shrine's funding came chiefly from Yonghe's second son Xiaowu Gong and Yongmu's descendants. Yongqiao's branch contributed half due to poverty. Lacking sacrificial lands, offerings relied on temporary funds. This spring, all resolved to donate fields: Eldest/second branches gave over 2 mu each; third branch half proportionally. Five impartial stewards manage rites: two from eldest/second branches each, one from third. Additional donors noted separately. The system is thorough. Yet ancient clans had: zongyue (covenants disciplining descendants with ancestral precepts) and zonggui (codes for mutual admonition). May Liang descendants implement these, achieving true reverence – substance over ceremony. Herein recorded.
